Being able to read and analyze the professional literature is essential to the synthesis of that material into professional practice. In this topic, you will identify and analyze a qualitative research article that supports the approved PICOT question. For a professional registered nurse, a basic understanding of research methodology is required to enable analysis and integration of findings into practice.
Objectives:
- Identify the role of qualitative research in evidence-based practice.
- Examine the components of qualitative research.
- Evaluate the relevancy of a qualitative research article to a selected clinical question.
