Topic 14: Using the PICOT Question to Develop a Change Project / NSG 324: Research and Evidence-Based Practice.
The goal of the EBP process is to promote change in client care based on the best evidence. This topic creates a direct connection between the PICOT question and the concept of initiating a change in nursing practice. The work you completed in this course (utilizing databases, identifying a relevant clinical question, forming the PICOT question, and gathering the evidence) constitutes the initial steps required in the development of the capstone change project.
