Self Directed Learning: Experts Answer on Above Self Reflection Assignment
Evaluation of planning and monitoring abilities
I was aiming to improve my time management skills as I often face issues in managing time effectively for my research and writing tasks. Adaptations to survive in dry places even after keeping reminders, my time management skills were not appropriate and I was often required to make adjustments to my plans in case of arousal or unexpected work commitments. However I need to prioritise my task according to the importance to ensure that all my efforts are towards the right direction.
Evaluation of self regulation ability
My self regulation approach to manage my task by prioritising activities helped me a lot in identifying the gaps and I was motivated to achieve my long term goals by becoming an independent learner. I have also applied reflection techniques to overcome any kind of frustration and focussed more on improvement. It is not an easy process as it requires a lot of discipline and celebrating small achievements to remain motivated throughout the process.
Role of relational support in learning
The role of relational support is crucial as it helped me in my learning experience. By way of engaging in social discussion with my peers, and guidance from my tutor helped me a lot in my learning strategies. I have also learnt that taking help early is crucial in preventing any unnecessary stress.
I would therefore engage more with peers as it helps in enhancing my reflective learning.
Values and ethical learning reflection
Meeting deadlines in my assignment has always been a major problem and to complete them on time, I often hurry up which compromise the quality and honesty in my work. But still I tried my best to uphold the integrity and perseverance by managing my time in a better way to submit the authentic work.
